Our Story

She Is More Than Enough is a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization that was founded by Jasmine Imo in November of 2020. The goal was to create a space where young women could gather for mentorship, resources, supports and just to network with peers.  Having these connections will help them navigate through some of the toughest parts of growing into the young women God has purposed them to be. From the day to day worries or anxieties that a teenager may face with identity crisis and friendships, to the worries and anxieties of adulthood that many college women experience when faced with decisions about careers and relationships.  SIMTE also provides resources to the parents and guardians of our young participants to be more informed of what they may be facing and how to best approach them at each stage of life.

Jasmine Imo

Executive Director and Founder

Jasmine has always had her hand in molding, motivating and mentoring young ladies to be the best they can be. From a teen herself growing up in Long Beach, CA she used to volunteer her time in children's church, to mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters. As she matriculated through college and her early professional career, she began to volunteer and work in areas where she could continue to directly make a positive impact with teenage girls and young adult women navigating their way through their college years. Jasmine earned her B.A in Child Development from California State University Northridge and later moved to the Washington, D.C area and attended Howard University where she received her Master's Degree in Social Work.  She currently works and lives in the Houston Metropolitan area.  Jasmine loves spending time with and making countless fun memories with her husband Kelvin and their 3 boys Jeremiah, Jacob and Joshua.
